I can totally relate to everything you said. I also suffer from social anxiety, which people usually don’t notice because I’m a musician so therefore, I’m used to be on stage… But every time I had to speak, not play, the same thing would happen to me. My voice would start shaking and I’d have difficulty breathing… I’d go out of breath very quickly…

About a year ago, I started working as an instructor and had to learn to give classes to groups of people. I had to learn to control myself and prepare my presentations well. Now, students ask ME for advice on how to speak publicly for project presentations… hahah… Everyone finds it hard to believe that its a constant struggle for me because they say “it seems so natural for you”! Everyone can conquer their fears created by anxiety, it just takes hard work and the courage to do so!
